No less was the number of applicants when the Public Service Commission (PSC) announced vacancies in 5,000 different posts in January. A total of 5,060,000 applications were dropped for 5,000 posts (Source : according to PSC 2015). eWith or without education, unemployment rate is high in the country. This not only creates difficulty for youngsters to earn for living, but the country’s economy is also going down.

Even ‘job and career fair’ take place in the capital to open avenues for employment opportunities for unemployed youths.

The government of Nepal is taking steps to address the job scarcity problems. GoN provisions for youth self-employment programs today. The governmental steps look to provide relief in some extent to these employment seeking youths of Nepal.
